Cool WM.Olmsted - Smiling as can be Custom Restore

This one is for our very own Rene' here on SRP... He sent me this

A WM.Olmsted and asked for her to be cleaned up only, emphatically asking that the blade contour and bevel angles not be changed ,,, So no re-grinding just cleaning ... Using the buffers I cleaned down into the pits but could not dig them all the way out unless I could have used belts, basically the old Gal got dermabasion and not a full face lift
The scales were done in Amber Swirl acrylic by request, I used a Black acrylic wedge and dual pinned it by choice. All the pins and washers are Brass.. She is heading to the stones soon, I can't wait to shave this one.. I can't find the maker's mark in my books but I am guess 1840's from the looks..

I am sending him back this

Wow that's a heck of a smile for an old razor! Great job on the restore, I like that you cleaned the old girl up without robbing her of the dignity of her years.

Congratulations to both Rene and Glen, that is one beautiful smile!
