I was going to post a new brush today, but the brush I worked on today is needing a very specialized finish which I have been researching for about a month now.
I instead realized that I haven't posted a razor in sometime...wait, have I ever posted a razor?
I guess this isn't the razor to (re)start with.
This was a troubled set of scales if you read my post about using clipboard material.
This is a Zenith from Marshall Wells in Germany. The razor came in a lot and I didn't think it would polish out, but really wanted to try a buffing in my drill press instead of my buffer and didn't care about this blade.
Despite losing a little bit of the logo on both sides of the tang it came out pretty well. It does have a few pits on the blade and a slight reverse taper, but nearly no wear and I think she'll shave great.
I did a partial bullseye on the pins and despite having only half of my tools I think the pinning came out acceptable.

As you can tell I'm not a photographer and I could have removed the polishing streaks before clicking.
In general I'm going back to proven and natural materials.
