Default Restoration of a Bockla 26

Hi folks, here some before and after pics of my latest 'restore'. My restores really consist of doing the best job I can cleaning it up and putting them in some decent scales.

But, this is another razor that turned out to have some really good steel under it. I'm proud of her.

And here are a few of the 'after' pics. Just got her scaled this afternoon. NOS german scales from classic shaving, translucent acrylic I believe. I polished all the scratches out of them and used Plast-X and Turtle wax. I polished the blade through 4 stages of greasless on progressively softer wheels using a drill and a craftsman rotary tool. I haven't trimmed the pin yet, but she closes straight and snug and the feel is tight at the pivot. I'm pretty happy with it.

Enjoy!! as I do all the beautiful razors in this forum..

    Best mates!

    Mike
