The blade was hand sanded and buffed, with Bubinga scales and bone wedge. We went with Tung Oil as the finish (which is fine by me because I think it really makes the grain on Bubinga pop)
Honed it this afternoon and shaved with it just about an hour ago. Really nice. I love W&B's.
At the risk of sounding ridiculous...there are some things you take for granted. For instance, at home I have a light box (made from tissue paper and a wine box). At the cottage (where I am now) I have no light box. I wish I had my light box. It makes pictures fun instead of frustrating. :)
