This one came from across the pond. An older blade it had some minor pitting, scratches around the pin hole etc. and some cracked scales.
We decided on something different from the black plastic and went with bone. Polished the blade and carefully worked around the gold wash and etch, polished the back, spine and shaft.
Designed some bone scales that complimented the shape of the blade and added triple stacks at the red acrylic wedge end and double stacks at the hinge. What a solid feeling razor.

That's a cracking job, well done. I tried to make some scales out of camel bone. Bloody hard work and I wasn't happy in the end. Yours look superb.

Thanks guys. I haven't tried Camel bone, but I'd imagine most bones act the same. I rather enjoyed making these. But I did make some at one time out of a full Elk antler and it was an interesting challenge. Ended up looking just like pure white Ivory with very few pores in sight.

I just wish you guys could hold it,, let alone use it. Honestly,, just having it in your hand you just know it's going to be special. It has a vibe to it. Makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
