Here is a razor I just finished up it is pattern welded steel 1095 & 15n20. The steel billet it came from the class that Mike Blue held. The blade is a 9/8s the scales are green canvas micarta.

What a wonderful job Charlie! I like the bold pattern. The end of the toe is cool! Was that the pattern you had when you left or did you forge it some more to get the raindrop spots?

It is the same pattern that I left with. When I forged the blade I used a hammer with a rounded face along the edge to upset the pattern.

Really nice Charlie. The pattern welded steel looks great. Once again you have greater a great looking original razor. Well done.
