My Charlex 70 is finished.
This brand was made by Charles Hake in the 1920's in 45, rue de la Rivière, Brussels, Belgium. I had fun resurrecting this razor. I've drawn both logos and had them engraved by laser. I've also made a 3-pin handle in horn which is always fun . The final result is very pleasant. "Mission accomplished" is what comes to mind.

Here's the original condition, lots of staining, some oxidation and decades of oblivion.

Blade and handle after a trip to the laser engraving shop. For the blade, the standard "Charlex" etching with flowers and "Qualité Supérieure" saying. For the handle, I used a Charlex logo that sometimes appeared on the shank of the razors.

Another shot. It's a 7/8'' if you're wondering. The blade is shorter than usual.
