Just finished this one - a VR Marshes and Shepherd 7/8 wedge. I'm assuming 1840-50. The scales are stabilized dyed maple burl (from Craig Stevens, who does awesome work) with a mammoth ivory wedge. The wood is finished in CA, still working out the kinks for that process though. Sorry for the picture quality, they don't do the burl justice. As usual, I like to leave a lot of the pitting / staining / patina on the blade. Just some light sanding and Mother's.
