New scales for an Ugly blade
This Kropp was one of my very early restorations. The blade was covered with rust as you can see in the first pic.
I hand sanded it attacked it with the Dremmel and made some tinted acrylic scales, which have served me well for nearly 3 years.
The scales were too chunky and heavy though, and I thought the blade deserved an upgrade.
The new scales are Cobalt acrylic, stacked s/steel washers on NiAg pins, and a polished Aluminium wedge.
They were polished all the way to Micromesh 12000, then buffed, and took a real nice shine.
The blade is a badly pitted old workhorse, but is still a fantastic shaver.
