    Default 6/8 Wade and Butcher

This is a 6/8 Wade and Butcher that was sanded, polished, and rescaled with ash. The wedge is a piece of aluminium. This is the first razor that I used greaseless compound on and it definitely made the task of removing some of the pits a lot faster and easier on my hands.

A fine job indeed. Like you I noticed a huge difference with wheels compound and polishing mops.

It is a piece of Ash that my brother rescued from the back corner of the high school wood shop that was being converted into just another classroom.
