Default Wade & Butcher American Eagle-DIY

I recently acquired this 7/8 near wedge W&B, American Eagle, from the 'bay. I was going to send it out to get restored. So glad I decided to do it myself. I sanded and polished both the horn scales and the blade. This is just how I wanted it to look. Honed it this morning, setting the bevel on a Norton 4k, then a progression with the Norton 4/8 and a Naniwa 12k. Stropped and shaved with it this early afternoon after I returned from my son's football scrimmage. Super rushed shower and shave because my wife and I were going to see our good friends at the hospital-their baby was born last night, so I didn't really get to check out this razor, but the fast shave was great, one multi-directional pass to near BBS. I was surprised at how quiet this razor was on the strop and on my face. This is definately a keeper. I have one more coming in next week, which will make seven total straights for me, and I'm done. A seven day set, so to speak.

Let me know what you all think
