Fantastic work,have yet to work with horn but will one day.When you re-scale Maxi,do you have a set demension between the wedge and the blade tip,looks to be about an 8th in. in the pics above.
I do rescaling of my user blades,always copy the old scales and wedge exactally,the demension above can run 1/8 to 3/8.
Do not think it is an important demension,your thoughts?
I think that dimension depends on a couple factors. If it's an original restore with a new wedge, I copy the old wedge. If it's a custom build, I try to get it as tight as possible. I like it when the blade tip "just" slides by the wedge.
