Back for another 200?

Duane sent me this stubby. It had a cracked rear scale. Plan #1) Original scales, tapered in the back, a little blade buffing. Plan #2) If the originals shatter during the restore, new scales in black horn, same shape.

After very careful bits of time here and there, Plan #1 was a success. These are the original scales, tapered in the back, and re-pinned with some old W&B stacks. Those originals didn't stand a chance, and were in really rough shape.

Nice save on those scales. I think you did just the right amount of restoration on that old beauty.

Yes, but they turned out quite poorly. They're all distorted.

Good restore Maxi, that's one ancient razor, just think of the historical events that blade has lived through.
