Thread: Wade and butcher 7/8

Another custom restoration I've rescently finished is a wade and butcher 7/8 near wedge, I kept some of the patina on the blade as I'm not a big fan of these old big wedges looking pristine and new, and made the scales from buffalo horn with ox bone wedge. The horn has a beautiful grain in that I tried to capture in the photos. I copied the notch in the scales and I think they look rather well. They are pinned together with nickel silver rod and washers. She just needs a hone now!! Thanks. Rob.
