Boker custom restore
This one I did for one of our members.
The request was for a purple acrylic, but the kind that is almost black with light purple tint.
I was not able to find exactly that but I found a very cool transparent purple with very low transparency factor.
I especially like how the body of the scales are very deep almost black purple, while close to the edges the purple really comes forward for a nice effect.
The blade was done with greaseless and buffing compounds as much as it allowed, brass pins and washers.

That came out very good. Anytime I hear purple in conjunction with razors I cringe, but this is really nice.

Great work! Beyond the colors being striking, the size and shape of the scales are excellent. The blade is fantastic as well.

Maybe it is because purple is the color of my university, but I absolutely love those scales! Maybe some day when I have a little extra money you will get another order!
