My very first homemade razor "The Little Steam locomotive" (03.2012)
Having little experience in making knives, decided to try his hand at making razors.
    Here's what happened.
Blade - forged steel 9HS (Russia). Hardness of about 60.
Handle - Rosewood. Wedge - mammoth.

That looks great! I like the way the scales follow the form of the steel.

GVI - just another hurray for beautiful work. +1 on the blade's profile working well w/ the scales. The single wedge pin reminds me of Buddel scales. Lovely work!

Very successful first attempt I'd say. The blending of blade and scale lines work well.

    Thank you for the support.
Sorry please. I do not understand it all, just basic words.: Aargh: But I have understood that there are very enthusiastic people and I like it.
This razor, and more precisely, the steel from which it is made was the most successful to date. I will continue to spread their work and explain the process.
I have interenet at home is very slow to work tomorrow I will try to put this steel composition. Forgot to say that my friend is forging billets, and all my work from hand-forged metal.
