Thread: Just the scales,

Well, I've been waiting to get these pics up!
I did these custom scales for a gent down in Halifax. They are G10 with an orange/yellow acetate wedge.


The hinge pin in a 1/8 torx that I recessed into the scales. It is removable for cleaning and easy to adjust tension.


Pins are Nickel Silver, with stacked SS washers.


It took almost 3 weeks for the Nickel Silver rod to arrive so that I could pin the wedge.


I only had to do some LITE cleaning and a quick polish to the blade. Someone previous to me had restored it quite well.


I test shaved it, and it took an amazing wedge!
