Thanked: 22847/8 sway back, Wade & Butcher Extra Hollow Ground
Here's a blade I had sitting around for a while that I just didn't have time for. I finally got it done, and I'm very happy with the results. Its a 7/8's sway back that had some nasty pitting on the very tip of the blade. The worst of it is gone. I finished the sanding off at 600 grit wet/dry to leave a satin finish, being very meticulous to get a nice horizontal scratch pattern. The washers are double stacked brass and a brass rod. The scales I did in some beautiful black buffalo horn, with faint white streaks. Its notched to show the Bone wedge.
All that's left to do is hit the hones with it and I'm sure I'll be using this one a lot. It will get a 12k Nani edge on it. Here it is.
