    Default My first restore

    I came across a completely rusted blade off eBay, but I forgot to take pics before I started. I thought it would be unsalvageable, but it turned out nicer than I expected. So critique it so I can see where I need to improve.


    It is cocobolo with gaboon ebony wedge.

    Yeah I made the scales. I bought a lot purchase off eBay and there where 3 blades without scales in there along with a DE and a couple of complete straights. I am polishing on a John s. Holister 5/8 wedge now. It doesn't center in the scales, so I guess my learning curve is fixin to get steeper.
