I saw this one on FB earlier. Very nice.
That sure is one bada** looking blade.
Cheers.
WOW! Beautiful and painful to see it in pics rather then my hands.......
Charlie, SWMBO and I both dropped jaw at this one!!!! Simply stunning!!!!
Paul
What a beautiful combination of steel and wood. Simply amazing Charlie.
I am just thinking of that tang in hand! It must be a lovely shaver, smiling edge and awesome grip. I consider myself lucky to have met you and listened as you explained how you do this. Still, it surely seems impossible for the common guy! Sweet!
Nice Work! :chapeau
That thing looks lethal... I want it!
Outstanding :tu
That's totally wild Spaz. We love it......

Beautiful as always.
Somehow your work always makes me want to live in a cave and shave sitting by a fire...

Unreal man, those scales are gorgeous, and the spine work is my favorite of yours second only to the hallowen razor.
That is one amazing looking razor. The work is incredible. I love everything about that razor and scales.
Incredible work.
Love the blade and the scales are very impressive.
Surely will have to add one of these some time in the future.
Simply beautiful, I don't know what's the most stunning the razor or the scales, what a beautiful piece of wood.
Jamie.
A finely crafted piece. The colors in the box elder burl are outstanding and compliment the blade perfectly
I can not even put into words how much I love this razor!
So I have one of Charlie's razors and its one of the most sinister razors I've ever seen. And its a damn pleasure to use. The lucky man who will be taking possetion of this one is in for a treat. Nice work CL
Super COOL Looking razor!
I am truly Jealous of the owner of this razor, and envious of the Craftsman who possesses the skills to make it. Thank you for sharing Mr. Lewis
A lot of Myth and Magic associated with the Elder. Be careful until you get to know the wood.
Just a little... It's one of the woods to respect.
Elder 'may provide a potent link with the Mother Goddess and facilitates contact with spirits of other trees. In a sense she acts as a mother figure within the woodland. She carries the wisdom of the Crone, and is mistress of the deepest magic.
Witches were said to be able to turn themselves into elder trees. Gypsies believe that it is very bad luck to cut down and burn elder wood and that the Elder Mother will take revenge. This superstition arises from an instinctive realization that a lack of respect for Nature is dangerous, ultimately, to the human race. Elder's unruly growth hints at the untamable aspect of Nature, the black heart of the earth to which we owe our being. '
Great work once again Charlie. Well done from toe to tail.
Oh my!!! That's just plain SICK in a good way. Charlie...another Picaso well done. Its statements like that makes me all tingle inside.
Looks like not I am the only one who likes stabilised burls, simply fantastic looking overall!
When I saw the blade I thought it was impressive but combined with the burl it makes a whole new impact. I really like this one. :tu
Beautiful work Charlie...
I really have nothing to add to what has been said.
But I have the page bookmarked and keep ending up back here to drool...uhh I mean admire this work of art.
I would not have thought of using box elder I hated the dealing with the bugs that came with the tree back up north.
Beautiful piece.
Another fine, FINE piece of work. I know RAD and HAD but what do you guys call it when you want to posses someone else s skill ? I mean besides envy :<0) .
Good lord that thing is amazing. Those may be the most beautiful wood scales I've ever seen.
Simply stunning sir. Kudos to you on that one!
Awesome blade and scales Charlie...
Stunning work.
You should donate it so I can rig the next SRP giveaway and die a happy man :deal:
amazing straight !
In FB already seen. very happy
Very nice work, the original
Those have to be the most amazingly beautiful scales I have ever seen.
I would never have thought that it was wood if you did not write it.
Absolutely amazing!!
Spectacular, Charlie.
It's surely not for me. I like the simplicity of the Sheffield Blades and the Solingen Blades also. These modern straights are overcomplicated.
That is some good gravy Charlie! Best Regards Ken
Nice job on that, Charlie. I'm glad I looked in! :)
