Imperial U.S. Battleship Indiana razor.

I got this one about a year ago at an antique shop, and it sat around because I really couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with this one. It had a lot of tarnish, patina, and some light rust (around the pivot and underside). The etching was actually in really good shape once I got the black crud off it, but a lot of patina left too. I decided since it looked old I would keep it old looking. The scales were broken and warped, so that was the first thing to go. I gave a quick buffing on 600 grit greaseless, and finished on emory compound and blending compound, both on sisal wheels. It turned out with a nice bright satin finish with lots of patina letting the age of this blade really show. For the stampings I refinished them with flat black enamel. The scales are black/silver diamondwood sanded to look like a faded hull with a blue g10 wedge. All hardware is ss and nickel silver pins. The back side of the blade face and tang have an uneven grind, so I went with a double pivot washer setup, she closes centered, and doesn't touch a bit. She measures in about ~ 1/100" shy of 11/16.
