    Default Custom Batwing Scales

A friend had a razor by Larkin. Happens to be the name of a man that played batman in 1949. He asked me to make it into a Bat Razor for him... This was the end result. The scales are made out of walnut with a tung oil finish. the wedge is made out of lace wood.

Well, you have me hooked. I have come back and looked at these scales several times. The workmanship looks very well done, congratulations on the cool scales.

    I love the look!

How is the balance and comfort/feel when honing and stropping?

It looks like you got it nailed but my curiosity is peaked.

The curve of the lower point fits right into the fingers when open for a shave. The balance as well is just about perfect. Tho you cant tell in the pictures one side is slightly thinner than the other to adjust the balance. Glad you like it!

Now, THAT's not the same Bat-Time, nor the same Bat-Station!
    Nice work!
