Impressive. Really, really impressive. What did you use to finish the handles? Are they just polished or is there a finish going on there. I dig.

Well as far as the collars go I was going to use them but i had to file a little off the top to get the pins out sadly I don't have a drill. And they were also not solid so they were kind of digging in to the bone scales. I still have them on hand but don't know what to do with them because they are in pretty poor shape.
As far as the scales i didn't use any finish on them i just soaked them in neatsfoot oil for about 5 or 6 hours and the lightly wiped them down before re-pinning it.
Also thanks for the tip on not making it so curvy.
What wedge did you put it?
Are you asking what I propped it up with?? It would be a file that i use when I peen.
That is NICE!
She is a big one for sure!
Nice Work! Atta Boy!! :tu
Whoever is honing it for you might have their work cut out for them!!! I've only honed a handful but some of them can make you want cry as they just don't want to cooperate!!!!:banghead:
The last one I did was a beauty to to hone!! Three layers of plastic tape and I got a bevel less than 1/8th inch wide. My great grandfather's near full wedge W&B--that's another story!!
Super! You obviously have a talent for this type of work.
Well done,
Great restore. Well done. Very tidy indeed.
