Dr. Harris Shaving Soaps and bowls
Just tried out my first Dr.Harris Shave soap. Ordering from The Shave Shed is a 7 day deal, eg. order on a Wednesday
( I always do) and it'll be at the nearest post office next Wednesday.
I've ordered from them about half a dozen times before and never any variation, always reliable.
I opted for the "Mahogany Style" bowls as the "Beechwood" bowls remind me of Ikea merchandise. What can I say, I'm a snob  !!
The pucks are 20gms heavier / larger than the Trumpers, the bowls are narrower in circumference but deeper:

As mentioned, the pucks are deeper and so are the bowls:

The "Arlington" won the toss, and my impressions are only 60 mins old but, there was nothing that really stood out fragrance-wise.
It was enjoyable sure, and still not having put any aftershave or moisturiser on, my face feels very good. Soft, supple and
most importantly, no razor rash, which I'm prone to.
The closest comparison I can make is that it's a much milder version of Mitchell's Wool Fat. And that's a poor comparison indeed !!
I used my Omega "Bambino" Boar Bristle brush and the lathering characteristics were impressive:

At the moment that's all I can say, I'm distracted by the bogans driving by, doing donuts and yelling about how the Dockers lost to Hawthorn
by 15 points, (and I have to go across the road for some shopping). AHH, the sound of fisticuffs, what a delightful neighbourhood !!
