Thanked: 60Many Thanks Jimbo
After being on the forum for only a few weeks, I decided to PM Jimbo and ask his assistance with my desire to learn to hone.
Well he responded positively and he came to visit me this afternoon with his rocks. What an experience and he made honing look oh so easy, but I know its not. Looking through the magnifiers at every stage was an education in it's self, from Bevel setting to the final polish. Impressive indeed and Oh what a smooth shave tonight.
All I can say is "what a gent", and of course thank you very much for a most excellent afternoon.
BBQ and Beers on me very soon. Thanks again Jimbo.

Thanked: 1587Never fear Kevin, these fellows are just trying to wind me up! They both know it is not Aunty Jimbo but Jimbolina who wears the short skirts! My dear old Aunty Jimbo is a mature and thoughtful widow much in the vein of Miss Marple, but with a slightly dirtier mind...
Anyway, it was lovely to meet you and family and thanks for your hospitality. And thanks for the moustache wax too! I've given it a bit of a go and it seems to work well.

I most certainly can confirm that the Jimbi family is a diverse and gormlessly twittish bunch, so it is best to not mix them up.
Here is an undated photo of Jimbolina.
While Aunty Jimbo is best known for her sometimes mysterious, but always helpful appearances like this one:

I tend to think of Jimbo as a fine stalwart of Aussie straight shaving! Thinking now!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
