I'm a fan of the Pogues, but I'm a bigger fan of the Dubliners.

RIP to those who gave all and SALUD! to those that remain and remember.
I've got fond memories of getting "pissed" with Aussies and Kiwi's on liberty call in the P.I. and the ANZUKS in Singapore when the South East Asia war game (Viet Nam) was in full bloom.

I am originally from New Zealand and have been in Canada for 3 years now.
I was home last year and attended the dawn parade in my home town wearing my grandfathers medals.
Austrailia New Zealand Army Corps ANZAC.
Both my great grand father and grand father fought in WW2 my great grandfather fought at Gallipoli and was lucky enough to make it back, injured but alive and i remember him as a young child.
Thankyou to all those old souls who fought, saw and did horrific things, the bravery, the extreme conditions they were in, and for those who gave their lives.
The world could have been a very different place without your sacrifices.
Thankyou again.
