Thanked: 1184You couldn't build a fire and roast some water ? I would have gone on shave strike. Or maybe drain some radiator water out of the truck when it was warm enough or , or , or anything but cold water. Glad to hear you made it through.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Geez, what a bunch of big girls blouse's you lot are. I cold water shave every time, and the occasional cold water shower never killed anyone. Just like being caught in the rain on a winters bike ride really. Come around and see me. I have a teaspoon of cement for each of youse .

Thanked: 203When I used to surf a lot more, and occaisonally slept on the beach, a cold shave in seawater was the norm. That will help you get that rugged Aussie way about ya!
Respectfully,
Adam.

I didn't know there was such a thing as hot water until after I got married. Indoor plumbing was also a mystery to me. In the military, we used water trucks called "camels", for obvious reasons, that were not heated so a cold shower and shave were the norm.

There's nothing wrong with cold water shaves. Good for the skin. Good for the environment.
