Shipping times to Australia....
I'm having a bit of a whinge but here goes.
I recently joined Etsy and bought this lovely EP bottle.
Postage was just $12.00 and it turned up on my doorstep this morning after just 7 days from the States
I ordered this EP Citrus Musk from the States over 3 weeks ago and still no indication of when it'll turn up.
Same shipping price (ebay) and the vendor wants me to be patient !!
I guess I just have to be philosophical about delivery times to Oz
Alright guys, you can now express your wit and wisdom !!http://straightrazorplace.com/workshop/18504-welcome-workshop-how-do-i-where-do-i-what-do-i-answers-here.html

I can get whole bikes or parts from the US in less than 2 weeks but everything small seems to take a good 3-6 weeks from the same state.
Most things are around 4 weeks but from anywhere in the world Belgium, Bolgeria, China, Japan, Scotland, Russia, UK, US & Israel.
Takes a week to get across mail Aus Bomgo you should be used to it let alone the rest of the world.Saved,
to shave another day.

Well, the strangeness continues !!
This morning two packages turned up from the same ebay vendor.
The first was the long-awaited Pinaud Citrus Musk, posted on 5th August from the States.
The second was a bottle of Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum, posted on 25th August.
Already decanted into vintage Glass EP bottles.

What timing...
I need to send something to Queensland this week from the US.
Have the Customs form - but if you could tell me how they are sending it (Prioroty, 1st Class Mail or ?) it would help.
My package is small (a disassembled SE razor) and all in will weigh 100grams +/-.
Any hints are appreciated.Support Movember!

Thanked: 1I have to admit, when I saw the pic in the OP I originally thought they were suggesting that postage times from the US were comparable to the old "message in a bottle". Fully dependent on tides and prevailing winds. We are a long way from most of the English speaking world.

JJ, This is both a good thing and a bad thing
The Citrus Musk had a longer trip because of a problem with the initial scanning at the U.S. Postal Service.
Nothing to do with the vendor. I only found this out later.
The vendor (Lisko) has become my "Go To Guy" for all things Ed Pinaud and beyond.
I can highly recommend this vendor : http://stores.ebay.com.au/LE-BEAUTY-...clubman+pinaudhttp://straightrazorplace.com/workshop/18504-welcome-workshop-how-do-i-where-do-i-what-do-i-answers-here.html
