the good and the bad and the really good
Hey Guys,
lots of news happening here.
Good news is that i have sold the last few knives i made on Ebay which has raised me money for razor materials. Yay.
i am also playing around with the razors i have already made as the shaves are just not what i want them to be yet.
Bad news is the rent is going up again here, and enough is enough, so i am moving. Means i am about to packup the workshop.
Good news is we just got a new place lined up today and it has a dedicated workshop area in a third garage!! As many of you know i work two jobs and only have nights for cutlering. Where i am now is not conducive as the workshop is directly below the bedrooms with an uninsulated wooden floor. Noise at night makes no happy family.
New place solves that and i should be able to do a lot more at night {sleep is for wusses} although probably no forging.
Hopefully the grinder will be okay.
Sooooo-come mid November we should have moved, i will be setting up the workshop, and then the real work/fun will begin and my production level will increase dramatically. i am aiming for a razor per week. Watch out Stu.
