    Question Blade steel in Australia......?

    Guys, I know of AKC as a supplier of blade steel in Oz but they have very little 6mm barstock choices (only RWL 34). Does anyone else know of other steel suppliers that might have some other steel options in a 6mm bar stock?

    There is only one other that I have heard mate. They are in Brisbane, but I'm buggered if I can remember what they trade under. Adam night know who they are hopefully.
    It's still going to be a limited choice though mate. Most of the choices have to come in from O.S along with the inflated costs.
    Bohler Uddeholm...That's them! Look 'em up here Bohler-Uddeholm Australia - BUAU They have O1, D2, 440 etc in flat stock for the knife making fraternity.

    Try these guys. They are near Canberra. I've ordered some steel from them in the past and they were good to deal with.
