Today Tonight story on multi-blade razors (if they can be called that)

Hi all,
I saw an article on Today Tonight this evening where they had three guys 'test' the 'latest' in 'cheap' multi blade razors from an online dealer.
I have contacted them and suggested that shaving with a cut-throat would be much more comfortable, cost effective and closer (I didn't mention RAD....hehehe)
FWIW I enclose the text of my email -

"I watched with interest the shaving story on Today Tonight this evening and would like to suggest an alternative.

Sorry to be the contrarian here, but I was in a hurry the last two days and reverted to my Pro Fusion, went WTG then ATG and got a fine shave. I love straights and use them 98% of the time, but I see no reason because of that to be against cartridges. They work fine for me when the need arises. As for an outlay of only $200, how many thousands of dollars ago was that? Ask my wife.

Can't argue with you Ace and I used cartridges for 35+ years, however, the cost effectiveness of straight/wet shaving cannot be denied.
There are many users who are happy to have one or two razors in their rotation and send them out for honing as needed.
FWIW I'm not against cartridges - I've just found a better way.

I did something similar Geoff, except I just about wrote the story for them on DE and cut-throat razors, the vast amount of choice in blades to try, the various styles of DE (Open comb, closed, adjustable etc), brushes, soaps/creams. All to the advantage of the shaver who wants to customise the shave to suit themselves and their face/skin. It went into some detail to say the least.

I'm glad you know more about DE's than me - I would have looked a bit foolish.
BTW FWIW I'm watching Kingwood Country ATM - Why does it have to be on so late?

No response Geoff, and in all honesty, I never really expected one. I think the shaving stories they have put on in recent months are due to me suggesting articles on old time shaving to them last year anyway. More than likely not just me, as others would be doing the same for sure, but you know what I mean.

Haven't watched Kingswood Country for years. What time and channel mate?
