    Default Anyone tried Arko soap?

If you haven't and you're in Bris, I just got some.

PM me if you'd like to try it.

I used it last night and it was very nice - makes a great lather and the smell is OK (although I was using a new brush which stinks....hehehehe)

There are quite a few threads about ARKO. I just got three sticks the day before yesterday from an associate in Macedonia. I used it yesterday morning and this morning, I like it a lot it is very simple and easy to use. I am a beginner so I don't know much anyway or have anything else to really compare it to besides my SRD soap that came with my kit. I am going to try and face lather my SRD soap tomorrow to compare the two.

    Mmmm... Arko.

It's very consistent, so I use it when travelling - it doesn't seem to mind hard or soft water.

I also use it with a newly-honed razor, or when I'm trying a new technique, because the ease of use and consistency eliminates one of the variables.

And I like the wierd smell. And it's cheap.

Just got an order myself and have been using it for a few days. No complaints at all

My travel soap, also. Does smell a bit like Ivory soap (a cheap bath soap in the states, a very plain cheap tallowate soap that is). The scent that's left behind fortunately doesn't remind of ivory (which I don't mind, it's actually the type of soap I use in the bath, but it is a bit offputting to have the shave soap smell a little like a bar that costs me 33 cents).
