Default Care & Maintenance Of Our Firearms

A couple of months ago, I sent a PM to the O.P., d.m. ellington, asking if it would be OK with him to include the care & maintenance of firearms in this thread. He , the O.P. , has been away for a few months & has not been able to reply to my PM, so I will make this post & when he returns, should he feel its not appropriate, then I will ask the MODS to remove this post or open another thread with it.

My concern was to not start another "Firearms" thread on a shaving forum. We have been lucky enough to keep a couple going over the years.

Here is my simple way of cleaning my firearms, since I don't have a garage or workshop.

Any methods of tips you have on maintaining your firearms, then please post them.

Like I said, should d.m. ellington not approve, then it's my bad,,, as the kids say.
