Like the idea of the separate battery . Well I looked at the glycerine I use with some soaps. Pharmaceutical grade vg. Added a little to some of the black note tobacco flavor, much smoother. After visiting numerous websites on the subject, looking at mods and juice, it appears to be as big a rabbit hole as the razor world.

Yes sir it is a very big and deep rabbit hole.
But once you find what you like, the spending decreases massively..........yup kinda like razors.
Well maybe :roflmao
But the separate battery is a big plus, you can carry spares with you
Best of luck and I'll give you any help I can

I'm mainly a single replaceable battery guy. But just bought the "alien" kit, by smok. It is a dual battery mod, but they are in series. All the bang, but not great life. If you are looking for long life, check that they are in parallel.
I wouldn't recommend going to too high of extremes with 18nic. My first suggestion is to go to 12 and go up in power/down in resistance.

I have been off the "Stinkys" for several years now. It is good to be rid of the cigarette cough and to be able to taste my food again. I have weaned myself down from 18mg nicotine to my current 3mg nicotine. I plan to soon be vaping at 0mg nic . I build my own clapton coils for my rda's and mix my own liquids. Made 100ml of "Mothers Unicorn Milk" today. The device on the table is a Releaux Rx300 with a Goon rda sporting dual clapton coils at .18 ohms and 40 watts.
