This is my current Baby.
I was born in 89 so I don't really have experience with what we now call "classic cars." I would like to have at least one pre-72 vehicle someday in good running condition. I would just enjoy having an old American auto to drive around. There are some beauties out there.

Did the Dukes of Hazzard steal the Challenger's thunder or what? The Charger was only old Dodge sports car I remember ever hearing about when I was a kid.
Hopefully I can find one someday and fix it up. It is sad though because my Dad BST literally a hundred(s) of cars/trucks before I was born! He would love to have just one of them now. Especially one of the mid-late 50's Chevys he owned!
Attachment 285726..I put this together and also painted it ,when I was 22..... way back in '78. ....454 with 2 Holley 600's...turbo 400...4:56 12 bolt posi..with working AC underdash...best time at New England Dragway ...12.69 @ 109 mph....drove it up...and drive it home. And still doing paint and body work........
One I had in early 90's. 87 Ranger. Manual 4 cyl truck.
5.0, AOD with a kit, and computer from a 91 Crown Vic. No way to tune it. Thank God.
Little bitty brakes. I did abscond with front and rear sway bars, seat and carpet, power steering, power brakes from a later HD V6 model.
Manifolds from an old 60's Cougar and 2 into in 3'' nasty 2 chamber Flowmaster, KYB monotubes. About it. Stock little 355 gears.
Could sit in one spot and get 3 gears. Smokeshow! :roflmao
Could not drink a cup of coffee in it. Handled awesome. Went through brakes like crazy, but worked great.
Tow vehicle from hell. Just did not weigh enough! Middle daughter drove it in high school.
Got in a few scrapes!
Miss that one!

What did you do with that beauty on the trailer?
I had a 73 Dodge Challenger Ralley, which I regrettably sold ten years ago. My dream car has always been a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner. I hope that I can get one after I finish putting my kids through college. (Fat chance, but we all need to have dreams.)
Only car I miss, '75, last of the leaded gas, Dodge Dart Demon, Coupe, 360, automatic, Bought used in '83 and driven in the El Toro area of CA. I was never embarrassed at a stoplight!! Did, however, replace the driveshaft U-joints. No photos they were lost in a move.
Color...violet with the along the side and over the top white sweep. White interior.
Just reminiscing...
