Thread: My Fathers Day gift(s)

I just wanted to share a couple pics of my Fathers Day gifts from my kids.

My daughter-in-law built this 'concealment' cabinet. She used some of the same wood I used to build my kids chest of drawers with (some 15yrs ago). She seen a pic of one online and decided to build one herself. She asked me to plane a few pieces down and cut to a specific length (which I assumed was for a project she wanted to do with their home)....NOW it 'all makes sense to me.' All the wording was done 'free hand'...no stencils used.




It closes with magnets and aligns perfectly horizontal when open, for display. Shown in the pic are a few commerative bottles, available only at JD's distillery...along with a couple bottle of my favorite, Single Barrel Select.
