You need a 25 mile bag!
If Prairie Island has a meltdown you would be down wind there.
What would you do then?
If we worry about all of the possibilities...................

Well I live almost a hundred miles past the end of the road. I think I never really need to bug out. I do however carry a ditch bag at work. If ever we have to ditch the boat I have a waterproof bag with a few key survival items isn it. Lighter, fire starter, compass, signal mirror, dry polypro clothes, thermal sleeping bag, an extra knife, cord. The usual stuff.
John is back! Glad to see you.
I too live where i would bug out to. Unless of course nucs fly or yellowstone erupts. Then i do have a couple days of freeze dried food a 3 person tent and water filtration straws and my cheap but most excellent mora. Yea i got some nicer knives but i have them put in other places. Don't know where i would bug out to as all my kin would probably be heading here ! Lol
I don't really have any photos of my kit, but I use a TT MALICE pack. Suture/IV start kit, 1L Saline, 2-4L water capacity, hammock/liner/quilt/rainfly, rainsuit, jetboil/fuel, camp axe/saw from SOG, 150m of 550 cord, and god knows what else. I think it's up to about 39lbs now. I need to go through it and restock, if I remember I'll post it up.
