Are those halogens? Betcha there are some LED bulbs for those.
Halogens suck some juice. Need a relay. LED's won't....Good DRL's too!

Lots of light for the twisties at night!

Yup they are halogens and will be warm but I’m liking the warmer colour on the fogs. Makes for a more noticeable lite pattern at night. I don’t think folks will not notice this car approaching..
They made green lensed rain lights in the 80s I really liked. They cut through the shine at night from the rain and gave good clarity.
Haven’t seen em in years though.
These are run off a dedicated relay and each one is fed from its own 14 gage wire for the draw.
I will look at h4 led replacements though as they do draw so little juice. Maybe I can find some in green??

I have a pair of the old iodine ones. They still work. Good light!

If you have them wired, leave them alone!

Figured it was a good time to tighten up the valve clearances as I get things checked off the final list.

.010, as per the good book.
A new gasket is curing on the cover and I will hit the chrome with some 3m metal restore before I put it back on.
New fluids replaced across the car, and I am gonna dump some fuel in her after I grab a Jerry cans worth.
Believe I am that close now..

What is the green handles valve? Water to the heater core?

Correct, isolates the heater box in the cabin from the engine supply fir those times you don’t want any heat in the cabin I presume. Or if you get a leaky core, you could isolate it to save your engine.

A lot of older Kenworth trucks have those. what do you guys call them? Laury? Big trucks, like what I drive. Now the new ones don't need it as they work much better.
Excited to see ya fire it up Mike. I still vote for a video!

The British would call a K Whopper a Lorry but to us its a transport truck. Yes please, a video or it didn't happen.
