When I was a teenager our neighbours wife had this little old cairn terrier. Her husband then got a Rottweiler puppy.
That terrier wasn't slow in asserting it's dominamce. And thelat Rottweiler used to follow it around like a lost puppy. It was weird to see lol.

Since they were still on the floor, I knew her car hadn’t got in the driveway yet.

Sick puppy!
The photo was oriented the correct way originally, but got rotated when I posted it here. Gremlins, I guess.
Our eyes can play some crazy tricks sometimes. I'm glad it wasn't stuffed!
FYI [ the big guy by the door is our 9-month old male puppy, the other two are a 12-year old female golden and a male beagle/whatever of indeterminate age. All are healthy and very much off the wall.
Just thought I’d update on how the puppy is getting on. First off, good lord, who knew boxers were so cuddly? This thing is ridiculous.

Transitioning from a Great Pyrenees, has been interesting. She is night and day different from my last dog. Which is a good thing I guess. But seriously, she’s so freaking small!! Moreover, She trusts people!? What the hell is up with that? She bounces like a kangaroo - seriously! She’s a clown!
Here is the best part. My Pyrenees loved my kids no question. It was his job to protect them. Which was great, but he still preferred the company of me and the wench. I mean wife. This pup actually prefers to hang with my kids! Remarkable... awesome. This pleases me to no end.
Stupid thing is still having “accidents” in the house though. Arg.
Anyway, I get to bring her in for her final shots tomorrow! Soon I can bring her to the bark park so she can expel all her energy with other dogs who’ll enjoy it. This makes me very happy because a boxer wired is a handful! She needs her stimulation!
She’s really worked her way into everyone’s heart here. I’m liking on her. A lot. I’ll love her soon. It’s all about time. Time to forget, and time to trust.
I would love to get another Basset but the other half of management has overruled that idea.
I do miss Miss Daisy
