We have a Bichon Frisé.

We have a chocolate lab, "Mocha" and a yellow chesapeake bay mix named "Bear"
When they aren't busy destroying something they're the coolest to have around.
Good company, dogs.

We have a Gordon Setter, a Lakeland Terrier, a Red ticked Hound, a Jack Russell Terrier, a Jack Russell terrier/chiquaqua mix, and a German Shephard mix. All have been adopted except the Gordon. Needless to say we have a full house and they have all become loved members of our family. Fortunately we have plenty of room and my wife is a fastidious housekeeper or this would not be possible. We also have a citron crested ****atoo as well. A regular zoo!:hmmm:
Two labs -- one chocolate and one I guess they call fox red.
we do Cattle Dog Rescue so dogs are rolling through all the time but have 4 dogs of our own 3 cattle dogs and a lab mix.
and This is baxter!
yes they are used for working cattle and originated in the Australian outback
We have a golden retriever. As you can see, he has a very hard life!
We have 2 Bulldogs and a Bernese Mountain Dog. Way fun animals.
Hildie, puppy Stella and Uncle Leo:

Don't have a dog anymore, I live in an apartment.
I've owned four Dobermans one mongrel and one Staffordshire bull terrier. I loved them all, but they are messy.
Today I admire and enjoy other peoples. All of yours look great.
The Bulldog is ace, I had one when I was a lad more years ago than I care to remember. Perhaps we will have one next!
Its nice to see a certain similarity here- in my case straight razors (again) pipes (for 30years) land Rovers (for 30 years+), labrador gundogs (30 years+).... plenty possible thread material I think!!!
Kind regards to you all,
J
We have a rescue dog that is, we think, an uber-mix - Chow, Pitbull, German Shepard, and Akita - is what we've been led to believe he is. His name is Sambuca, but we just call him Buca. He's a big 'fraidy cat. The pictures are from when I threw him in Lake Michigan last summer. It was pretty funny to say the least.
I really want to get a Vizsla, but my better half says we have to wait until we move to a bigger place, i.e. not a one BR condo in the city of Chicago.
Well I'm disappointed, this being the finer things forum I though we were going to be talking about Hot Dogs.
I like mine grilled with mustard and sauerkraut.
big I started one of those a wile back! have a look at the search! :tu
We have two large Standard Poodles. The male is about 70 pounds and is named Orion. The female is about 50 pounds and is named Abbigail. They are not actually your standard, Standard Poodles. They are what is called Parti colored. The male is black and white and the female is brown and white. They are litter mates and are now about 2.5 yrs old.
Believe it or not, the male likes to sit in a stuffed leather chair like a human next to my wife while we are watching TV and get his back scratched. Quite the sight!
This is Mable and Milli. Mable is a Husky/border collie cross and Milli is a Papillon/Foxy cross. They get on like a house on fire. An interesting fact about these two is that Mable can fit Milli's head in her mouth....

We have two dogs. The border collie we picked up as a puppy from the animal shelter. Yes, he's a border collie. The littler mates were all standard looking BC's. He's reverse, taller & heavier than a normal BC at about 50 pounds. The other dog is a German Shepherd, possibly a mix or just bad breeding, we picked up from a German Shepherd rescue. She's a tank. Built like a log with legs, weighing in at nearly 70 pounds, but the sweetest dog you could ask for. Total tummy whore.
Two beagle/shepherd mixes called Guinness & Bounder and a pit mutt named Lily - all rescued and all good as gold. Well, except for Lily - she hasn't quite gotten past 'if I can reach it I can eat it' yet. They own the sofa and occasionally allow us to use it.
This is Bob- an English Mastiff!
Myself with Bob when he was about 6monyhs old (twice the size now) and our two mutts togetherthe Labrador is an ace gun dog!
My boy when we were still doing search and rescue together. Torr is a german wirehaired pointer and eats hills for breakfast. Lovely nature and with the socialising work with all humans as part of his initial training as a pup, he loves everybody! He is not a great collie fan though, been nipped by far too many on training weekends.
Torr's now training for the fire brigade - at least I reckon he will give them training some time soon when he goes up in flames!
I had three boxers but I lost my female boxer this summer and am down to two . Whenever I have a bad day they always cheer me up. They are an amazing breed.

Scrunt, my third boxer. He was the runt of the litter and no one wanted him so we kept him. Two weeks after this picture was taken my female boxer Bridget was killed in a car accident  so I'm glad we kept him because he has the same personality as she had.

Superb Boxer pictures- We had one before the Mastiff, he was as mad as a mad thing!:tu
Got a yellow lab, I am the fat one on the right with the big white fat dog.
I think I may have introduced him in one thread or another, I am always happy to show him doing something silly (which reminds me I should post a new comic). Here's my American pit bull terrier Basil playing in the snow:

Icedog - love the pic of Basil! He's got that great "terrier on a mission" look in his eyes.
I'm the co-owner, me and my brother, of two Chihuahuas. Surprisingly smart little buggers.
The first one is Brutus, and the second one is Bandit; both are pure-bread bought from a family member who used to breed them. My Grandfather actually owned Bandit's dad, until the dog passed away a couple weeks ago.
I have two rottweilers.
Me and Tasha are SAR trained too. Here are some pics of her in action; One is from when we were winched into a building.
I have a German Mastiff (Great Dane) named Otto. He's a little over 2 years old now, weighs in at around 175 lbs, stands 37 inches tall at the shoulders (around seven feet tall, standing on his hind legs) and is the most gentle dog I've ever met. Despite their imposing size, great danes would rather lean against someone while they get a back rub than be aggressive.
His head is above the height of our table, kitchen counters, cookie jar shelf and has never once taken food without being told he can have it. I couldn't have asked for a better dog.
p.s. If anyone has the chance to rescue one of these big guys, pleeeaase do so. Too many people get wrapped up in the novelty of their size only to realize they didn't really want the dog, or don't want to deal with it anymore and abandon them. :(
I really like those Danes; they are wonderful dogs, nice and very friendly. One of my friend has one, and she likes to press her head against my stomach, exposing her neck to be scratch and trembles because of the tickles... The size could be problematic if you are living in a small apartment, but usually one knows what to expect when buying such a dog... there is on excuses abandoning one.
I've a German Shepherd, Sammy. Great dog, a beer drinking buddy, one of my best friends.
Cheers,
Ed
Russel,
The owner of the bike shop I used to work at has two danes. They often came to work with Nelo and despite their size were great shop dogs. He lost his female, Zima, last year but you will be happy to know he rescued another gentle giant. Gouga belonged to a nice guy who could not afford to take care of such a big dog and he could not have found a better new home. Nelo also has a rescue pit, Vino. I will try to get some pictures up of those rascals as well as my brindle pit lab mix, Dante.
Great dog photos everyone!
