How does he respond to a bath Roy?
We have yet to find that out. Right now he's pretty odor free.
However he has decided that my fence needs washed-----how the hell he got it so far up in the one spot is beyond me--

This morning I decided to take a bath rather than a shower and Travis was quite interested in the process. He had the most comical look on his face/kind of like--Why are you in that giant water dish? And of course the occasional lick to my arm to check on things.
Maybe by letting him continue to watch me while I take a bath he'll be open to get in the giant water bowl himself.
Good idea Roy. Might be a water dog?
Best way to tell is put him in a dry tub, play with him.
Then slowly fill it while he’s already in it. Play, splash, clean..
:tu
Been blessed with all our dogs taking to the water. One old girl actually launched herself out of a high speed boat to catch a loon. Snoopy, she was out and after that loon like nothing. Hit the water at 35 mph..
Try hauling a wet 50 lb dog back into a boat over the side rail, them be memories boys!,

This was Snoopy.

15 years ago, sigh.
Roy-I'm so happy to enable YOU for once. I know you are an awesome dog Dad. Travis is lucky to have found you, and vice versa, I'm sure. (My brother is also named Travis, lol!). They make great companions for walks or hikes, a game of fetch, general rough-housing, and watching tv. Enjoy your new buddy!
:hmmm: So your brother's name is Travis---Maybe I should start calling my new buddy T Ravis-----:w

Seriously, I have missed having a dog all of these years. Several years before the ex divorced me our previous dog became terminally ill while I was working out of town and when the wife let me know of his situation we made the decision to have him put down and she did.
The job had 3 more weeks and she wanted to get a puppy as the kids really missed their dog and I said 'OK, but I don't want a female and I don't want a long haired dog.
Well when I returned home I found a female Border Collie puppy :gaah: She did end up being a good dog, loved the frisbe and the tennis ball. In fact I'd be cooking at the stove and she'd come to the door with a tennis ball in her mouth then toss it toward me and then look at me, then the ball, then back at me etc. So I'd pick it up and toss it into the next room and she'd repeat the process.
The ex remarried quite quickly after the divorce and the sugar daddy and I never got along and one day I had to go to their house for some reason and he met me at the door and our Border Collie went between him and me and he commanded her to go lay down and she started to but I said "Lady, come see daddy and she ran up, then jumped to put her paws on my thighs and I leaned over and said 'Give daddy a kiss and I got the one lick. Then I said 'Go lay down' and she did.
He wasn't happy----:roflmao:rofl2:
We all know this to be true.

Hey Roy, that is one good looking pup.:)
When your riding the HD just tie down a kennel to the back fender of your bike. He will love it! :)
