This is what I found when I went to bed the other night. I should have named him Marmaduke.

I never thought I would fight with the dog for the remote..
Hey! How do I get this thing open!?!?
It’s one thing to grab the remote, but then he swipes a beer?
Paul, what kind of puppy training did you enrol your dog in?
My granddaughter was in 'HIS' chair today.

That’s the face of a dog that’s being tolerant,,, for you dad,, only you…
:)
Actually--He was worn out! He rough housed with the kids, my son in law and anyone who would play with him.
They were getting ready to leave right after the picture was taken. Then he crawled up, turned around a few times and then took a nap!
But, he's ready for another go around now that he's rested.

Buddy’s finding Gabby makes an okay pillow.
My two Boys Oscar & Boris the Bedlington Terriers hunting Squirrels in my local Thomastown park during the summer, the younger Dog Boris is quite a dab hand at catching them only last week he caught and killed one, they are the non-native grey Squirrels which are pretty bad for the UK environment trying my best to get rid of them, in the other video, they are hunting a few Rabbits they have caught the scent of.

Good for them Jamie. The only good squirrel is a dead squirrel. I have a pathological hatred for squirrels.
The way Sebastian sleeps with his tongue out he looks like he should have X's over his eyes so I gave him some.

Good tip!
Good tip.
I hit the ice maker on the fridge door. That always calls buddy off the bed long enough to get comfy.
Only dog we ever had that loves, I mean loves ice cubes.
I unwrap a slice of processed cheese anywhere in the house. Apparently dog ears are tuned to pick up that sound at great distances.
I got a kick out of this---

Hey,
Doesn't anyone else hear own Dobermans? How about some pictures? Don't have any handy on this tablet, but they'll be coming soon.
No offense to anyone, but I've had many dogs, but some people will understand this, some won't, but there are Dobermans, and than everything else...IMHO. The guy's who understand what I'm saying won't take offense to anybody else, I'm sorry.
Late Christmas present for Max

Give him a couple of days and he'll have the joints chewed off the ends
Attachment 338559
Maybe by the end of the night the way he's going.

The other boys know better than to mess with him when he gets his whole femur bones. If they get too close he'll give them one of those low gutteral growls.
No sooner had I posted than off it came...

I don't currently have Dobermans but I've had several of them over the years although back in the 80s. This is the only picture that I have on this device of a couple of my puppies, Sampson and Dinah.

I need to get more converted to digital. All of mine were red and yes, I understand what you are saying. They are so loyal, so smart and so powerful. I wanted to get another one but my wife was afraid of them. I told her if you had one you wouldn't be. You feel safe with them around. I'll say this though, since having Ridgebacks they are.the only dog I like as much if not more. They too are smart and loyal but as far as powerful they have Dobermans beat. I have never had a dog that is that powerful and I have had shepherds, dobermans and other massive dogs.
I guess his head was feeling heavy while waiting for me to get his dinner ready.

I can’t remember if I posted this before, but it seemed appropriate to post for a variety of reasons.

Ya know when you are scolding your dog and they just don’t get it, or get it too well maybe?
The phrase “get off the couch” has lost its meaning round my house it seems.

And I swear, he knows he’s breaking the rules, but betting with that particular look he can get away with it.
Don’t tell me they aren’t smart, social animals..

Or is it maybe more like...

I've always been a large dog man and never cared for small dogs but I have to say Finny can be so cute sometimes it's hard not be endeared by him.
