Fun to shoot at night, they belch out a huge amt of flame:)
I think favourite has many definitions...
I have shot hundreds of thousands of rounds in my Kreighoff K-80 at skeet.
I have some bespoke shotguns made for me in Spain that I have carried a lot hunting birds.
I have recently taken up metallic silhouettes and am enamored with my Anschutes .22.
I have an old 1911 that was carried by a rodie for the Eagles when picking up the gate money, kind of a cool history.
I have a 5 shot break open S&W that was owned by my grandfather.
I like them all.
If I may ask, who were the makers of your Spanish shotguns? My Spanish was made by Francisco Sarriugarte, proofed in Eibar 1969.
Sarriugarte was one of the gun makers involved with the Diarm fiasco. His sons are still in the gun business under Kemmen (sp?) Arms.
My favorite gun is whichever the antigunners are trying to ban that week.
That being said I love them all. But if I had to choose from my collection I prefer my Henry for the nostalgia of it or for shear brut force I like to play with my 300 Remington ultra mag. Something pretty neat about hitting 800 yard targets.
That 300 Rem Ultra Mag looks interesting. I like the idea of a non belted mag round. It was introduced after I stopped shooting. I can say you can hit targets at 800 yards with a 308 win but the higher velocity of the 300 Rem Ultra would make it a bit easier and you'd have higher remaining energy at 800 yards when dealing with large game. With paper targets remaining energy really doesn't matter though.

The 1911 was my first thought.
For pure fun,yah can't beat a Tulle de Chasse 62 cal Smoothbore Flintah....load it as a shotgun for turkey..or Round Ball for Deer,bear,Moosehttp://i1327.photobucket.com/albums/...ps676968f4.jpg
