Very pretty, but in 22LR it would be difficult for me to imagine a better gun than a S&W Model 41.
$1,300 (S&W) vs. almost $400 (Taurus) with most likely marginal accuracy difference? I'm not trying to win competitions here. Not yet. Plus Taurus' warranty just cant be beat. I mentioned I was also checking out the Smith 617 which came in at almost $700. Everyone I could find who knew of/shot both guns said the Smith was no where near being a $300-better gun. I'm happy with my choice so far lol.
Nice buy:tu
Good choice on the .22. I'm lucky if I can even FIND .45ACP around here, let alone afford it. My poor lil' Kimber only has a few mags worth of ammo.
Guess I'll have to try to make it up to your house when the zombies attack. :)
Ohh, Nice. Very Handsom, I remember and still own My first gun. Being an American at it's best!
My point exactly!

In my neck of the woods, a brand new S&W 41 goes for under $950 and a good used one over $700. If you ever decide to pursue the sport and need to upgrade from the Taurus, you may find that it was not the less expensive way to go. For now, however, I still think you got a pretty gun.
Congrats! Feels great to own your own. Must not even feel the rounds going off with that much steel around a .22! You'll be able to focus on becoming a crack shot, and I've fired a nearly identical taurus...if you do your part...it's as accurate as anything you're likely to need a .22 handgun to do.
Enjoy!!!
Congrats on the gun purchase. I have shot the .22 LR Tarus at the range and as long as you keep the excess spent powder off the firing pin, you should have no problems with it.
