Will do as soon as I get them out to the range. Wife has kindly offered to launch clays for me.

Getting my Browning A-Bolt II Stainless Stalker .375 H&H LH ready.
It was a great 5 shot group until I blew it. Four in the same hole from my IZH46m .177 at 10 yards.
Weaver stance, two hands. The silhouettes are 1/10th scale.

It's a one legged duck ! :rofl2:
I need to be post my 1911. Unfortunately I put an idiot scratch on it. I wish I could modify the back of the slide stop so that it will snap in the way it should (have to hold the little pin spring down with something really thin for it to go in the way it should. I would send it to someone, but one guy told me a gunsmith would probably charge $50. If I do it myself I'm worried I'll screw it up worse.
Firearm related but not a gun. I finally broke down and bought a LabRadar chronograph over Black Friday. No need to go in front of the firing line to set up and weather/sun conditions don’t affect it as it is a radar.
Ran 12-series of 20 shots today with both .45 and 9mm loads. Forgot to change my bullet weight when I switched to the 9mm loads so my power factor and kinetic energy results are not correct for those loads.
It will take five separate distance velocity readings for each shot. I was shooting 25 yards and so had it set at 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 yards.
You can use an SDHC card to capture the data and then transfer it to your computer. They are supposed to have a new software version come out next month that will enable Bluetooth and then they will have an app for smartphones.
So far very happy with this unit.
These are much cheaper than your gunsmith:

You can do it yourself with a file if you want to modify your slide stop. Here’s a link to the 1911 forum with some photos of the mod.
