Have you thought about rolling the window down...........................
Last week I got my Audi A4 Kombi. Sold my 12 year old Mazda 6.
Audi is a Diesel and manual gears. Great ride :)
It has inbuilt airconditioning so no need for fans on the dash.
Attachment 277330. 64 Pontiac GP....my kids car...he lets me work on it...
I'm a Ford man, myself.

Oh say you ain't a Model A man, outback?
Me too! :tu

Attachment 277558. Found some 5x5 Rally wheels ....doesn't look like grandpas car anymore....lol
Attachment 277559...Almost time to put it away, for its Wintahs nap.
That's a badass car. Big and badass!
I am old enough to remember grinning when a Poncho came in for a tune-up! :D
Buicks and Oldses...Oh MY! The mid- late 60's ones were superb!
I restored this old thing in the early 90's.
It needs only lubrication, fighting the cheap gas we have.
Points....Those suckers need a change every 4 years or so.
Riveted the woven brake linings to the shoes myself back then.
Hardest part about owning a Model A is getting time to run it through a heat cycle and keeping it clean.
Easy-peasy! Best fun car ever. Original fuel pump!
Original brake fluid!
From 1931!
Everyone loves the old tickty-tick when you draw down on the spark.
The wolf-whistle is also quite a hit! ;)

If you are interested in another light restore you are welcome to have a go at Lionel Ritchie ☺ he is the 60
Well I own the 2005 , the model A belongs to one of the guys I work with. My uncle kept a model T, at my fathers for years. His son has it now. My father restored a bunch of early 50s, Oldsmobile's. Would take them to some big car show, in Green bay, Wisconsin. Won lots of trophies, and was noted as the most authoritive person, on Oldsmobile's.
He then went on to restoring a Studebaker, then jags and MG's. And oodles of other, privately owned oldies.
He did it all...engine work, body, interior, paint, upholstery. Oh those years of lacquer..
Sounds like the sort of body work I would do, Ed!
As long as it don't leak!
Decide to be sorta practical with my new car choice. Guess I’m growing up..

The Golf R was 100hp stronger, but 8” lower as well. $10000 more too.
Not good in deep snow, all wheel drive or not.
This Golf alltrack has the same 1.8t as I have in my modified Corrado, and with tweaks, that engine became a beast. Not sure till I research it if I can do the same, but all wheel drive, 6 spd standard tranny, and they threw in the (still to be applied) tint job for free.
Has every modern safety feature and Bluetooth crap for the cell phone integration yada yada..
Should do for my daily driver for a few years.
:beer1:
Ha! One of my best friends has that exact car, same colour and everything, same story, something practical, now, he loves it, been in it a few times and it really is top of the line, well done car.
Got all the bells and whistles, drives beautifully, tons of space, fantastic on the roads, like I said, he grew to love it more and more, now, he'll never get an SUV/CUV again, either a wagon or a sports down the road.
Congratulations, think you made a great choice......:-)
Not anything vintage but picked up a 2018 Wrangler JLU and then did a 2.5” lift and put 315 KO2’s on it to give me some light off road ability

I think both of you need to take your vehicles to the decal shop and personalize them.
I was thinking more like

Or

Or even

The wife got three green stripes on her civic to make it less mundane and more unique. I wish I had a picture.
That smart car/motorcycle is brilliant. What fun!
There is some super cool stuff you can do with decals.
The second set is almost ghosted with the dark paint. I like the effect of that. The smart car is super clever. The last one is pretty loud and not quite my style, but high vis colours in a camo pattern down the Center of a truck would work for me. I may at some point do that to my boring white GMC half ton.
