I saw this and had to throw my opinion out there. I am first and foremost a beer guy. Much like the affinity I have for str8s and shaving the art of beer is one that not too many take seriously. I am actually preparing to learn to brew my own beer and am quite excited! As far as the question at hand Leinenkugel has been a solid staple as of late. The sunset wheat has a fantastic blueberry aftertaste without being syrupy. My very favorite is Moose Drool from Big Sky Brewery in Montana. It's an amazing, nutty brown beer. Not too strong but enough that the beer afficianado will appreciate it. I also have recently tried the Double Arrogant Bastard Ale and was pleasantly surprised. I have been trying to go the route of smaller craft beers as they tend to be more thoughtful I you will. Whether that's just perception or actual quality, that is what I feel. Any beer though, like wine, cheese, or razors should be tried. You neve know what you'll come across that you fall in live with.
