Default Recommendations for a nice handmade leather wallet?

I'm in the market for a new wallet, just a simple folding rearpocket type of thing for some cards and cash and want to buy a nice heavy handmade leather one. For the last few years I've had a leather-ish Chinese made thingie, and now want something nice that lasts. I've found leathergoodsconnection.com online, but does anybody have recommendations and maybe pics of what they got? This forum seemed best to me, with all the afficionados of whatever good life has to offer.

These might be a little too minimalist but they certainly look nice. Makr wallets

Some of these are made from shell cordovan, which should just improve with age rather than wear out.

Nice, but a little too minimalist for me. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Actually, I really wish I could get down to something like that but I carry around too much junk. I'm more in the "Costanza" mode with a couple of Hartmann wallets (which are very nice too).

I would look at this site
Saddleback Leather Company - Leather Wallets - Leather Goods & Accessories : Saddleback Leather Company

i own a few items from there and the stuff has a 100 year warranty. Good quality leather goods

I can attest to Saddleback quality too...I don't have the wallet, but I do have their briefcase. Very nice and durable.

What I carry is like an old school "truckers" wallet I call it. My dad carried one like it. The one I have is prison made, real leather and stitched up with some kind of plastic lace or something. It kind of looks like something your kid would make at summer camp but I like it a lot.

I've had a Coach bi-fold wallet for the past five years and carry it every day. It still looks brand new and I'm quite happy with it. I've had other wallets wear out after a couple of years so this one has been quite a surprise and was money well spent.
