Had an AVO XO this evening. Too dark for photos, but I really enjoyed it. Very smooth and creamy.

First choice the other night while watching the Canadian Women's Soccer vs China

poor draw, poor burn, poor cigar all round, oh well our girls won first game!!!
A very nice Siglo IV and slightly younger than my soon 16 yrs old daughter. If I could only use one word (early in), it would be "rich" in all departments :)

This cigar was great, Light tan wrapper, medium body, fairly light draw, nice burn/ash, nutty flavour.Attachment 203933Attachment 203934
Last night I had a Drew Estate Chateau Real out on the deck while slogging along through a book I didn't particularly care for but didn't want to quit without finishing. The cigar, the deck, and the night were all quite nice, though.
Yesterday's choice was one of my budget go toos. Isla del sol. It's a tad sweet to start but worth the price.
Cigars during golf and before and after, in order:
La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Magnifico
Mason Dixon Project, North Version
La Flor Dominicana Maduro Cabinet
Fuente Casa Cuba (ugh!)
Jaime Garcia Special Reserve Limited Edition 2011
Rafael Gonzales, lonsdale. Found it in my desktop humidor and it's way over 10 yrs old, more like 15 and it's a great cigar :)

I'm keeping to the desktop humidor today and found an Punch petit corona from 99 (a part trade way back, from a dear and old friend and BOTL from Slovenia, cheers Tomas, not that you're reading this :) ). Lovely cigar, absolutly lovely (good strenght, complex and no metal bi flavours what so ever).

This was very tasty up to the last half inch. I stuck it in a clay pipe when it got too short to hold and smoked it til tasted bad. I think I got my money's worth.
