What cigar did you smoke today?

My Friday Victory Stogie was a Q-Ban Fuerte (made by a family owned company in Miami, Flor de Gonzales.) I've got two of these and I smoked the other one on the way home. What I can tell you is they are sure not kidding about the Fuerte (Strong) part. My own proclivities with regard to vitamin N have been very well documented on this very site. I'm no nicotine wimp by a long shot but I've got to admit that this one was TOTALLY a nicotine jack boot to the mush. That said it was a delightful smoke. I'm looking forward to smoking the second one very soon and may even buy more of these. Perhaps in the future making them my evening, just prior to go to bed, cigar might be advisable

Yes, Gentlemen, it's time for the Friday Victory Stogie. This evening the Friday Victory Stogie is a huge Brick House. This should keep me smoking for at least an hour and change (or a few more of these PBRs at least.) Commencing Alpha Male Good Life Pleasure Maneuvers Now! Life is good!

Debrief: All kidding aside this was easily one of the 3 best cigars I've ever smoked in my life. You can bet this one will make multiple encores as the Friday Victory stogie. If your looking for a completely delicious cigar that is affordable enough to be a fairly regular weekend cigar, you could do much worse than this for sure. Absolutely remarkable how good this thing was!

Adjourning to the lanai for my Friday Victory Stogie, a Flor de Gonzales Qban Fuerte. Of course I'll be chasing it with a cold PBR and celebrating that for another work week "the man's" attempts to keep me down have once again been futile.

Hoyo Epi #2 with a Camerons Cream Ale (or 3) while out roasting coffee. A good night.

CAO La Traviata, not a showstopper but very tasty, alot of cigar for not much money.

Weekday stick (cheap knockabout machine made) in this case an El Producto Escepionales. Not a bad tasting cigar (George Burns smoked them exclusively) but without question the ugliest cigar I've ever seen. At 52, the ring gauge is much bigger than any other machine made stick I've sampled and it doesn't use that homoginized pressed paper tobacco binder so it doesn't have the cigarette taste of many cheap cigars. Not a great cigar by a long shot but serviceable, reliable and affordable. While very unlikely this one will de-throne the Brick House or La Aroma De Cuba, it may make my rotation of weekday cigars which I typically use for volume smoking so I can stretch my better "Weekend" cigars out longer.

Arturo Fuente Work of Art Maduro paired with a Cottrell Perry's Revenge Ale (scotch ale). Not a better way to finish a long week.
